Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Elandetta Swatch Book?

Our signature Swatch Book features the ten current Elandetta colourways, presented in the exact leathers used to make our shoes. It includes kid suede, sea leather and hand-applied crystal finishes, enclosed in our branded miniature dust bag. Each teardrop-shaped swatch is taken from the central section left over during the shoe-cutting process, a material-led detail that reflects our commitment to craft, accuracy and responsible production.

Are the swatches the same materials as the shoes?

Yes. The swatches are cut from the same leathers used in production, ensuring true colour, texture and finish. As with all natural leathers, subtle variations can occur from skin to skin, but the overall colour and character remain consistent. Swatches are designed to be viewed in your own light, alongside your wardrobe, so you can choose with confidence before ordering.

Are the colours seasonal or permanent?

Our colour palette is intentionally timeless. Each shade is carefully selected to work across seasons and wardrobes, and is designed to remain part of the collection rather than follow trend-led.

How do the shoes fit?

Our shoes fit true to size. If you are between sizes or have specific fit concerns, we’re always happy to advise.  Please see our fitting guide to help you.

Where are Elandetta shoes made?

Our shoes are designed in Britain and crafted by skilled European craftspeople in a Portuguese factory. Each pair is produced in small batches to ensure quality and responsible production.

What materials do you use?

We use high-quality leathers chosen for their depth, beauty and durability—such as kid suede, fish leather and metallic finishes. Each material is selected to ensure comfort and longevity.

Where do you ship to?

We ship within the UK and plan to extend to Europe and Internationally in the future. Full delivery details are available at checkout.

What is your returns policy?

We accept returns on unworn shoes within the stated returns window. Full details can be found on our Returns page

Can I exchange for a different colour or size?

Yes, subject to availability. We recommend using the Swatch Book before ordering to minimise the need for exchanges.

How should I care for my Elandetta shoes?

Please see our dedicated Care section for more information. We recommend protecting suede before wear and storing your shoes in their dust bag when not in use.

Do you offer repairs or revival services?

Yes. We encourage long-term wear and offer an in-house revive service to help extend the life of your shoes.

Why does Elandetta offer leather swatches?

Because buying shoes online can be tricky. Screens often distort colour, so our swatch book lets you see and feel the leather in real life, ensuring your chosen shoe matches your wardrobe before you order.

How do I choose the right shoe colour online?

Use our swatch book to compare colours against your wardrobe in your own lighting. We also offer colour pairings and styling guides to help you select the perfect hue.

Can I match Elandetta shoes to my wardrobe before buying?

Absolutely. The swatch system lets you order individual swatches or the full book and test them against your clothing and accessories at home before placing an order.

What is colour confidence?

Colour confidence is knowing exactly how a shoe’s colour will look and pair with your wardrobe before you buy. Our swatch system and design expertise remove the uncertainty from online shopping so you can choose colours you love with confidence.

Are Elandetta shoes designed in Britain?

Yes. Elandetta’s founder and shoe designer, Hetty, designs every pair in the UK. The design process focuses on both colour and silhouette to create distinctive heels.

Are Elandetta shoes handmade?

They are hand-finished by skilled craftspeople. While Hetty doesn’t personally make each pair, our factory uses traditional techniques and careful hand finishing to ensure consistent quality.

What heel height are Elandetta shoes?

Heel height varies by style. Our most popular styles feature elegant heels around 110 mm (about 4.3 inches) . Check individual product pages for specific measurements.

How do I look after suede shoes?

Suede is a natural material and can mark if not cared for. We recommend using a protective spray, brushing regularly and storing your shoes in the provided dust bag. The high-quality suede we use will last when properly maintained.
